The former two term New Mexico Governor and current Republican Presidential candidate Gary Johnson may be about to join the Libertarian Party and run for their nomination according to credible sources.  In fact, some sources close to the campaign believe their is a “90% chance” of this occurring.

Johnson recently appeared on the Neil Cavuto program to discuss the possibility and he isn’t denying the fact that he is considering a run with the Libertarian Party.

A recruit Gary Johnson campaign is underway within the Libertarian Party and a group that may be connected to a current front-runner for the Libertarian Party nomination is circulating attacks on Johnson and his record.

If Johnson was to make the switch he would join RJ Harris, Carl Person, Roger Gary, and Lee Wrights who are currently running for the nomination.
